Assistive Listening Devices

There are many new and exciting devices available to the hearing-impaired individual, instruments which can aid in the day-to-day activities. These products include:

• Flashing alarm clocks.
• Vibrating wrist bands and clocks.
• Amplified telephones.
• FM or group listening systems.
• TDDS / TTY units.

Industrial Hearing Conservation

Our price includes the on-site pure tone audiogram, evaluation and comparison to the baseline test. Our clinical audiologist reviews tests to check for a Standard Threshold Shift (STS), but also to make medical referrals as needed. We provide results in letter format for the employees, and in report format for the company which is put into a folder each year for easy access, and two summary reports (an Employee Hearing Summary which is a quick overview of all employees tested and a summary list of all employees with a standard threshold shift).

All records are kept permanently in our computer database for easy back-reference. We also send a reminder each year to our clients before annual hearing tests are due.

Our mobile test unit is equipped to test five persons at a time approximately ten minutes per group/30 per hour. We are certified to conduct noise surveys for OSHA documentation, seminars on hearing protection and training on how to wear hearing protection devices. We also have training booklets available.
