When I first came to New Life Institute, I had the perspective that I was a thirty-four year old, burned out on sales and corporate America. I returned to school to be retrained for a new vocation. I had misgivings. Could I do massage? Would I enjoy touching people I didn't know? Would I make a living doing massage? And, how would massage fit into my life. What would I learn several months later was that massage is not a vocation; massage is a calling. Massage is self-expression. Massage is a commitment to health and life. Massage is a way of life. Massage never, not for once, fit my life. My life changed to fit massage and being a message therapist. This school is appropriately named New Life; because that is what has happened to me in the past six months. I have been given the gift, the privilege and the responsibility of a 'New Life'. What I really got is an extraordinary life. A life that I am committed to using to contribute to people's health, vitality and self-expression."
