Gene Sprayberry, owner/operator of The Golf Stop, located in the Riverside Golf Center, on Garner Lane in Columbia, South Carolina, has been a professional clubmaker for 14 years. He began his work as customer clubmaker during the course of his post-military career as a PGA golf professional; and, is one of a few individuals in the nation to combine membership in the PGA with his accomplishments as a professional clubmaker. the owner, Gene Sprayberry

Clubmaker of the Year. This award is the highest distinction
awarded by the Golf Clubmakers Association in recognition
